The family welcomes Supriya Akella! (September 11, 2006; Troy, New York)
Pranav, Jayasri and Srinivas were thrilled to have Supriya join them on September 11, 2006. She was 6 lbs 8 oz and 18.5 inches at birth. Enjoy a few more sleepless nights, guys!!
The First Prof. A. K. Rao Memorial Lecture, ISAMPE (September 7, 2006; Bangalore, India)
The Indian Society for Advancement of materials and Processing Engineering (ISAMPE) hosts the First Prof. A. K. Rao Memorial lecture. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Rao's doctoral student Dr. Baldev Raj (Distinguished Scientist and Director, The Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research) at the National Aeronautical Laboratory, Bangalore, India. The lectures will be delivered every September, to celebrate Prof. Rao's birth.
Chirag in 2nd grade! August, 2006
